Rue Morgue - October 2006
Rue
Morgue, a compendium of "Horror in Culture and Entertainment," featured
the Haunted Mansion as its "Classic Cut" selection in October 2006.
Though this article by Paul Corupe starts with the dubious claim that the
Haunted Mansion "was far beyond what even Walt could have envisioned,"
it goes on to successfully recreate the history of the ride and the thrill
of riding it in a nutshell, summing it up by calling it "the most fully
realized, technologically impressive dark ride ever created. Click on the
